An impressive title fight win

He began his professional career in 2021 and swiftly achieved an impressive 11-0 record before deciding to make the big switch. His debut Muay Thai bout was against Issei Ishii, a fellow Japanese kickboxer, which ended in a draw.

Following the draw, Matsuda made a huge leap by facing Khunsueklek, the reigning Bantamweight champion of Rajadamnern Stadium with a remarkable record of 81 wins, 7 losses, and 3 draws in his second Muay Thai match.

Contrary to what many expected, Matsuda turned out to be the better fighter between the two as he knocked the champ out within two rounds.

Matsuda is the new king

The Rajadamnern Stadium Championship is renowned as one of the most esteemed titles in Muay Thai. Despite being just 18 years old, Khunsueklek became the organization’s champion after securing a remarkable 41-fight winning streak which also saw him holding a prominent position on the pound-for-pound rankings.

After his upset title fight win, Matsuda is now the new king and is expected to face some of the best pound-for-pound Muay Thai fighters across the globe.
