Patricky Pitbull will not fight Shahzaib Rind at Karate Combat 61 after suffering a cut over his left eye during a Friday morning brawl in Miami.
The fight was scheduled for Saturday. One day earlier, Patricky and Rind had a tense faceoff that escalated when Rind pushed at Patricky’s face and threw a head kick as they separated. The kick missed, but Patricio Pitbull stepped in and exchanged punches with Rind before staff separated the group.

He told MMA Fighting the later hotel incident happened while he was with his brother and their wives.
“What a f*cking coward move,” Patricky said. “There was that altercation yesterday, and his friends already showed up prepared today. They started throwing water at us during breakfast. It was me, Patricio, and our wives. Patricio asked them to stop, he said we were with our family, and they kept going. I stood up and threw a bottle of water at them. They ran off and I chased them. When we got outside, a brawl broke out and I was the one who got hurt.”
The former Bellator champion said he believed the scene was planned.
“They came throwing water and there were already people recording,” Patricky said. “It was all set up. These guys were the ones protecting him before the weigh-ins.”
Rind and Karate Combat had not publicly responded at the time of the report.
