The first thing I want to say here is that Sonic the Hedgehog is one of those legendary titles that we all grew up knowing and loving, but man, some people really love their Sonic. I mean that in the creepiest way imaginable. A part of me, when coming up for a banner for this article, was tempted to work in some of the insanity that exists on the internet with Sonic into it, but instead I opted not to. MiddleEasy is a family site, after all. I mean, at least I think it is a family site. Is it a family site?
Okay, it probably isn’t a family site, but no one wants to see some DeviantArt blunder of Sonic and Tails making passionate love. No one.
This video shows what Sonic the Hedgehog would look like in – get this – first person! Sonic games have had a bit of a rough time making the transition to 3D, although some of the later games have been a lot of fun. Sonic games haven’t had that same kind of reinvention that we saw when Mario was introduced to 3D, but that is okay, we still love you Sonic (in a platonic kind of way, alright?). This video shows how much of a crappy nightmare Sonic would be in first person.
