I don’t know if you guys knew this or not, but Amazon was running a poll to see what the game of this generation was and it has come and gone. Honestly, I had no clue this was happening and I write about games every day. That says something. I also go to Amazon all of the time and make full use of my Amazon Prime membership. I am a bit confused, but I’m pretty sure that I’m not the only one.
So this poll asked which game was the Game of the Generation for the Xbox 360/PlayStation 3/maybe Wii generation and the results won’t shock you one bit. The Naughty Dog lovers were out in full force for this one, with Uncharted 2 and The Last of Us having epic runs, The Last of Us making it to the finals, but what the Naughty Dog fans didn’t account for was the Bethesda heavies who were destined to take The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim straight to the finish.
I’m pretty disappointed to see two of my favorite games from this generation; Mass Effect 2 and The Walking Dead have such poor showings here, but I feel that in the end good triumphed and we all won by getting to play these awesome games.
