This is all according to a press release offered by Take 2 Interactive’s IR department, which means that, you know, they can’t lie about it to investors or they’ll get raked over the coals and have awful things done to them.
According to them, this is the quickest that an entertainment property has reached this $1 Billion milestone, which means that yes, that means beating Call of Duty and yes, it means beating The Avengers. That is pretty crazy and shows that there are a lot of people out there who play videogames and are willing to drop cash on a game that is not only fun, goofy and has a lot of hype behind it, but is well done as well. That’s pretty awesome, right?
