Go inside the making of Halo 5: Guardians Multiplayer Beta with the new web series The Sprint

Watch the first 20 seconds of the trailer for the new 343 Industries and Microsoft web series “The Sprint” and you will want to work at Kirkland, Washington studios. 343 Industries have rows and rows of filing cabinets filled with unopened Halo games. On their lunch breaks games designers dive into a giant vault of perfectly shrink wrapped green Halo game cases.

Thanks to “The Sprint” fans of Halo can get a documentary style peek into how 343 Industries made the Halo 5: Guardians Multiplayer Beta. The six-part series will debut through Halo’s YouTube channel  on Thursday December 18th. New episodes will begin airing every day at 4 PM ET starting on December 23rd, leading up to the beta’s release on December 29th.

Episode names for “The Sprint” includes such words as “Balance”, “Gold”, and “Shutdown”. There is a good chance during the “Shutdown” episode conflict will arise and our little Master Chiefs will have to battle to overcome them. Halo fans can pretty much cancel their New Year’s Eve plans now so they can sample the game’s many new player abilities, including ground pound and thrusters through the Halo 5 multiplayer beta.
