Kingdom Hearts is such an interesting series for so many reasons. For one, it’s one of the most debated franchises there is people seem to love it or hate it, and I have no idea why. I’ve played it and it’s a fun game, while it’s not for me, it’s still a fun series. Yet for whatever reason people seem to be so divided on it. Secondly, Kingdom Hearts III was becoming a meme of sorts, you’d always hear about gaming journalists talk about the flood of emails they’d receive about Kingdom Hearts III. I still don’t have the slightest clue why, I know having Disney and Square Enix together was an enormous deal back in 2002, but now it just feels like your friends from high school who were super cool and then they kind of just never evolved and stayed the same into their late 20’s.
Well, here you go fanboys, your long awaited day of reckoning is coming to the next generation of consoles. When that is? Who knows, the wait will probably be longer than you’d want knowing how Square Enix operates. Here’s a trailer to wet your appetite.
