Tyson Fury agreed to a bet of $1 million with Jake Paul.
YouTube sensation Jake Paul will finally take on Tommy Fury in an exhibition boxing match on August 6. After months of delays and a forced withdrawal by Fury, the two men agreed to the Madison Square Garden-headlining fight.
Tyson had offered to place a bet on his brother and was initially ridiculed by the younger Paul.
Jake Paul demands Tyson Fury to “up the ante”
Following a wager of $100,000 by Fury, Paul would ask the former heavyweight champion to take it up another notch in a swear-laden video uploaded to his Twitter.
“Hey Tyson, you f**king p*ssy, you made $40 million, not as much as me, but let’s up the ante. Let’s bet a million on it, Tyson. Two million, three million, however much you want to f**king bet. Let’s do it.
“So f*** your $100K, let’s make a better bet and make it worth a couple million. Are you down?”
Fury didn’t take long to respond to Paul but doubted if ‘The Problem Child’ would run into problems coughing up the cash.
‘The Gypsy King’ doesn’t believe Paul has the money
Tyson agreed to raise the stakes to $1 million although he would like some proof that Paul can actually afford the bet.
“Hey, Jakey Boy, I hear you want a bet a bigger bet than $100,000. You want a bigger bet motherf**ker? You want a million dollars? Let’s do it. Holler at your boy. You want a million, you got it.
“And hey, Jakey, I want to see this million dollars in escrow, sucker, cause I don’t think you’ve got a million dollars. I ain’t talking about crypto. I’m talking about real U.S. green backs motherf**ker. Real U.S. dollars, no crypto.”
Fury’s concerns might stem from a recent podcast episode where Logan Paul said that Jake went broke after the cryptocurrency market crash. Paul is yet to further add a response to Fury’s doubts.
