Today’s Lesson: Don’t Make a Fool of Yourself at the Tour de France

The Tour De France is one of those things that I’m not sure that I could ever get into. It’s nothing against the athletes or the whole sport itself, but racing of any kind just doesn’t do much for me. Not like Gary LaPlante, who loves his NASCAR and will start a fight with you if you make fun of Dale Earnhardt or use his name in vain. Apparently the Tour De France is not immune to guys make absolute fools of themselves in the name of LULZ or misplaced hipster irony, I’m still not really sure how to categorize this one.

Anyway, this guy chose to seize the day and dress like a complete fool and then run alongside Tejay Van Garderen and this amazing upright citizen in the blue t-shirt has just had his fill of this post-irony irony crap, channels his inner Cobra Kai and sweeps the leg. From what we can tell this is a somewhat normal thing to dress funny and run alongside the racers, but this guy in the blue shirt is some kind of awesome.
