This 7-year-old girl is an AMAZING grindcore vocalist

Grindcore is a simple genre, play loud, play fast and scream loud. It’s a genre of music that many will find absolutely repulsive, going as far as not even classifying it as actual music. Grindcore simply isn’t for everyone and in the case of legendary grindcore frontman Seth Putnam, he would openly comment on people’s claim that he makes awful music.

In the case of Sockweb, this isn’t the case. Sockweb is a band comprised of a father and a seven-year-old daughter. They debuted their first song entitled ‘I Want Pancakes‘ earlier this year, yes it’s a song about pancakes, hot chocolate, pizza and much much more. With their fans clamoring for more they’ve released their first music video and it’s just as amazing as I hoped.

Sockweb’s first full-length album should be out by the end of the year, featuring some heavy hitters from the extreme metal community (yes, I did call it the extreme metal community, there are too many genres of people that have their hands on this full length from too many genres to call it anything else) such as Scott Hall from Pig Destroyer/Agoraphobic Nosebleed and Joanie’s hero Katherine Katz of Agoraphobic Nosebleed. A link to their indiegogo campaign can be found here. Man, this is all just far too adorable.
