Michael Keaton has a starring role in the new Robocop movie which means, stay with me on this, a Batman vs. Robocop spin-off is not off the table.
Peter Weller, the original Robocop, actually voiced the older Bruce Wayne in both animated adaptions of Batman: The Dark Knight Returns. I also found this photo of two dudes cosplaying Robocop and Batman, which undoubtedly means DC Comics is up to some nutty collabs in the future.
So the official trailer for the new Robocop film is out, and I’m pretty sure the guy’s that made Crysis are pissed. Maybe I’m just looking too deep into it, but the new Robocop suit appears to draw more than a handful of similarities from the Crysis outfit. Either way, it’s still amazing to see what a budget of $100 million will do to a killer franchise. Props to Jerm for the +100 news tip.
