Tai Emery made a successful debut in bare-knuckle boxing at BKFC Thailand 3.

After signing with Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship, Emery finally made her first walk to the ring against Rung-Arun Khunchai this past Saturday. Emery connected with a massive uppercut before sealing the deal with a left hook. The combo sent her opponent crashing down to the canvas, earning her a first-round knockout win at the popular Rajadamnern Muay Thai stadium, the iconic venue that has hosted countless legendary Muay Thai battles.

There are many different ways fighters celebrate after a huge win. For bare-knuckle boxer Emery, she chose to double down on her amazing performance with an unusual celebration. She stood up on one corner of the ring and lifted her shirt up for the crowd in attendance at the stadium.

“Interesting celebration right there by Tai Emery,” said the commentator.

Along with Emery, Muay Thai icon Buakaw Banchamek made his debut for the promotion as well. Regarded as one of Thailand’s greatest athletes ever, Buakaw put on a dominant performance in his first showing under the BKFC banner. The 40-year-old looked good as ever as he managed to secure a first-round finish over Turkish kickboxer Erkan Varol in the headlining bout of the night at BKFC Thailand 3.

Emery is a 35-year-old former electrician and model hailing from Australia. She has prior sporting experience from her days of playing for the Lingerie Football League. She was also slated to participate in the return of Lingerie Fighting Championships, one of the most controversial leagues in the sport of mixed martial arts. As it turns out, Emery has found a home at BKFC and will look to solidify her place after a solid start.
