  • Logan Paul is set to file a lawsuit against Floyd Mayweather over contract disputes
  • Paul fought the legendary boxer in an exhibition match last year

YouTube sensation Logan Paul has accumulated a massive audience to his name. Working his way up on social media, the former Vine star has continued to explore new fields of interest. He was recently featured in the WWE for a special Wrestle Mania appearance.

However, Paul is still dealing with challenges over getting paid his worth from a show with Floyd Mayweather.

Logan Paul is taking to the court

In a mega-crossover bout, the undefeated boxer Floyd Mayweather chose to come out of retirement to take on Logan Paul in an exhibition match last June. Billed as “Bragging Rights”, the two fought at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida.

While the match itself went the full distance to a draw, Paul admitted that Mayweather seemed to be holding back, something he confirmed after. Mayweather was initially full of admiration for the YouTuber and the PPV reportedly sold over a million buys.

About a year separated from the pair’s encounter, Paul has remained adamant about his claims of not getting paid the full sum from the fight. Paul started his allegations a few months ago when he revealed he was not paid according to their contract agreement.

In a recent interview with TMZ Sports, Logan Paul confirmed that he will take the case to court.

“No, he has not paid me in full, that is a fact. Short of a few million”

“We’re taking to the court. See you in the courtroom. Congrats! You’re going to prison, Floyd.

Jake Paul reported Logan’s plans first

Ahead of the historic fight between Katie Taylor and Amanda Serrano, Jake Paul bashed Mayweather for not paying his elder brother. Jake claimed that Mayweather was broke and owed a lot of money to IRS for not paying taxes on his earnings.

Mayweather argued against the allegations as he explained the process of receiving money from PPV sales. The legendary boxer claimed that he was still collecting checks from his fights of seven years ago. He surmised that the YouTuber was used to a different procedure of getting paid while suggesting Paul be happy with what he got.

No further comments have been made from The Money Team’s camp. Logan has remained relatively quiet on the details of the lawsuit as it is still ongoing. More developments on the matter are expected to follow soon.
