There are times in every mans life when you come to the realization that you’ve just made a huge mistake. Most men have this realization many times in their life, maybe it’s when you’ve rented a video game from West Coast Video that was atrocious, or maybe it’s when you ordered shrimp cocktail from a diner at 3 AM. Maybe it’s when you went to some party and decided to put on Incendiary and started to dance in some strange girl’s’ basement. For me though, this moment was when I tried to do a split. I figured, ‘psh I could so do a split, I’m pretty flexible.’ But no. It started off fairly easy, only boosting my confidence, then about halfway through, I’ve realized that I’ve made a huge mistake. I could’ve sworn that I was nearly at a 180 degree angle. That wasn’t the case at all, I tried to stand up and that just wasn’t possible. With everyone around me being horrible human beings not helping me, the only course of action was to slowly fall over, which I did so with minimal harm to my body.
Jean-Claude Van Damme simply doesn’t have this problem, he did a split that I could only dream of doing. The look on his face is so stoic, I can only imagine that he learned to do this from Fedor. Only The Last Emperor could teach himJean-Claude how to be so calm, so Zen, during such a chaotic moment. So, if I’ve learned anything from this video, is that Fedor can do a split between two Volvo trucks.
