Vasiliy Lomachenko stopped George Kambosos to become a world champion once again.
Loma hit the body
As expected, the bout was intense from the start, with both lightweights showcasing almost identical speed, agility, and tactical prowess. However, Lomachenko’s experience and technical expertise became increasingly evident as the rounds progressed, having connected with some devastating hooks.
In the eleventh round, the momentum shifted dramatically when Loma gained massive advantage by delivered a series of precise and impactful body shots that ultimately saw Kambosos kneeling down.
Lomachenko then secured a TKO victory over Kambosos, claiming the IBF and IBO world lightweight titles in a spectacular fashion.

Loma is back
This victory solidified Lomachenko’s reputation as one of the best boxers in the world. More importantly, it was a sensational comeback following his decision loss to Devin Haney last year that saw him losing his unified lightweight champion status.

As it stands, Loma now has a 18-3-0 pro boxing record. He is now reportedly being eyed by Gervonta Davis as “Tank” plans to face the Ukrainian after beating Frank Martin.
“He’s after Frank..let me get Frank first,” Davis wrote.
On the other hand, Kambosos now has three defeats as a pro, with Loma’s TKO win being the first time he was ever stopped in his career. He now has a 21-3-0 record.
