- Turki Alalshikh talked about Oleksandr Usyk vs. Tyson Fury 2’s judging
- The Saudi Arabian adviser would still agree to work with “The Gypsy King”
Turki Alalshikh publicly shared his thoughts on Oleksandr Usyk’s performance, working with Tyson Fury in the future and the controversy on the fight’s judging.
Usyk won
In a candid post on X, Alalshikh made it clear to everybody that he believes Usyk won majority of the rounds, which is in contrast to what Fury is claiming. For “The Gypsy King,” he beat Usyk and the decision win was the judges’ “Christmas gift” to the Ukrainian.
Regardless what the scorecards say, Alalshikh still thinks Usyk should be credited for his performance and Fury shouldn’t be criticized.
“I needed time to realize what happened last night and I will speak from my heart as a fan not as a person from Riyadh season team … in the fight between Usyk and Tyson , I counted that Usyk has 4 rounds more … that does not mean Tyson was performing bad no no no he gave us everything but let’s be honest Usyk one of the greatest boxers in this generation and he proved it with big names … and Tyson have a part in my heart and he is one of the important reasons that boxing is still keeping its legacy… after the fight I heard great words from the champion Usyk about Riyadh and my country , my leaders , the crown prince god bless him and the Saudi people , ok it’s business of course but they are from inside their heart appreciate the opportunity and the support … I look to the fighters as brothers and members of the family,” he wrote.
Turki still wants to work with Fury
Fury’s devastating loss got fans thinking the Brit should already consider retiring. Whatever Fury’s decision will be, Alalshikh already guaranteed that he will be open to discussing any business with “The Gypsy King.”
“Usyk told me he is ready to do any fight in the future, we agreed he rest for now and nothing before the result between Dubois and Parker … and about Tyson I am waiting after he rest and take time his decision and I will understand if he retires if not I will be glad to do fights with him,” he added.

Usyk retained his IBO, WBC and WBO belts with his unanimous decision win over Fury in their rematch. From the look of it, Alalshikh will also be glad to work with Usyk again as he waits for his next possible challenger.
