Champ meets champ, as Katie Taylor meets Amanda Serrano in a high-stakes boxing match. The clash between the two female superstars takes place at the historic Madison Square Garden.

Of course, there could only be one champion leaving the ring with the win. On Saturday night, it would end up being Ireland’s Taylor who had her hand raised. It wouldn’t be easy, however. 

After four very competitive rounds by both women, Serrano would nearly starch Taylor. Serrano would catch Taylor with a series of big bombs. She had her wobbled but Taylor would go on to survive the round. What a moment for Serrano. 

The two would continue over the course of 10 rounds, making it to the distance in what was a close endeavor. Like the judges, fans had mixed opinions on who won the fight. The judges would ultimately score it a split decision win for Katie Taylor.

While Taylor got her hand raised, it looks like we may be getting a rematch between the two stars sometime soon. People around the world are praising the match as the ‘fight of the year’.
