Sylvester Stallone, the iconic actor who rose to fame playing a boxer in the “Rocky” franchise, built a legendary career that made him a household name and a multimillionaire.

A passionate boxing fan, the 78-year-old tuned in to watch Mike Tyson’s highly anticipated and controversial return to the ring against Jake Paul on Friday night.

While Tyson didn’t secure a win, he took pride in lasting all eight rounds with a much younger opponent. Paul, who has spent years honing his skills in combat sports, faced a determined and legendary challenger in the ring.

Sylvester Stallone Breaks Silence on Controversial Paul-Tyson Match

Sylvester Stallone thinks Mike Tyson didn’t go all out against Jake Paul.

Tyson, now 58, had trouble landing big punches during the fight, but many say that’s just because he’s older and hasn’t boxed for real since 2005.

But Stallone believes Tyson could have easily beaten Paul, who’s known for fighting smaller or less experienced opponents.

Stallone says Jake should be glad Tyson didn’t try to hurt him for real.

“Just to set my personal record straight,” the actor wrote on Instagram.

“Business is business. SOMETIMES you have to do hard things and sacrifice for the sake of helping your FAMILY…. I have known this unbelievable athlete since he’s 19 years old and what we saw was him giving one of the great Oscar winning performances of all time!!!!

“Please, Jake, be grateful, HE SPARED YOUR LIFE! Trust me …..Keep punching Mike, there will never be a MAN like you, a GLADIATOR like you, and a SOUL like you! Keep punching champion of champions!

“I remember once I bumped into him and thought I was hit by runaway BULLDOZER!!!”

Jake Paul’s manager responds to ‘rigged fight’ rumors, but Sylvester Stallone didn’t say the fight was rigged, but he did suggest that Mike Tyson could have knocked out Jake Paul if he really wanted to.

Nakisa Bidarian, Jake’s manager, co-founded Most Valuable Promotions, the company behind the event that attracted over 60 million viewers on Netflix.

After the fight, Nakisa noticed all the rumors floating around and decided to address them publicly after an NFL legend spoke out.
