Stevie McKenna got Zuffa Boxing 10 moving with a first-round knockout in Dublin.
McKenna stopped Owen O’Neill in Round 1 on Saturday, August 8, 2026, at 3Arena. The middleweight bout came before Aaron McKenna’s vacant IBF middleweight title fight with Etinosa Oliha.
The result moved McKenna to 17-1 with 16 knockouts. O’Neill entered the bout at 14-2 with 1 knockout and dropped to 14-3.

Round 1 Finish
McKenna did not need the scheduled eight-round distance. He found the right hand early, hurt O’Neill before the fight could settle, and closed the domestic matchup inside the opening round.
The finish matched the numbers he brought into the card. McKenna had 15 knockouts in 16 wins before Saturday, while O’Neill had only one stoppage among his 14 victories.
McKenna then shifted the spotlight toward the main event. In Sky Sports Boxing’s post-fight clip, he said: “He’s going to become world champion. The McKennas are here, we’re going to announce ourselves the world of boxing.”

This was McKenna’s second Zuffa Boxing appearance after his knockout win over Casey James Streeter at Zuffa Boxing 07. O’Neill had sparred both McKenna brothers before the fight, but that familiarity did not buy him time once the right hand landed.
The undercard result tied directly into the bigger family story. Aaron McKenna had already weighed 159.6 pounds for Oliha, who came in at 159.1, making the IBF title main event official after Friday’s Zuffa Boxing 10 weigh-in.
Stevie’s job was simple: win clean, keep the Dublin crowd hot, and hand the card to his brother with the McKenna name already on the board. One round was enough.
