Ryan Garcia Confirms His Boxing Return with December Exhibition Fight
Ryan Garcia was suspended from boxing for a whole year and fined more than a million dollars after testing positive for a substance called Ostarine after his fight with Devin Haney this summer.
But Ryan is still going to have a special fight that doesn’t count as a real match. He told everyone he’s ready for an exhibition fight with Rukiya Anpo, who used to be a champion in kickboxing. This match will happen on December 30.
“I’m looking forward to knocking Anpo out for trying to knock out the legend Manny Pacquiao,” Garcia said after the announcement.
“Manny [Pacquiao] is past his prime, and for him to try to knock him out rubbed me the wrong way… I will knock him out and teach him a lesson of respect.”
