Roy Jones Jr. Will Box Again

TMZ Sports has reported that the 53-year-old Jones will step back into the ring to face Robert Wilmote, who is also known as NDO Champ.

NDO is a social media star and IFBB bodybuilding professional. Jones will take on NDO on January 28 in Miami. The fight will reportedly consist of five one-minute rounds.

The 38-year-old NDO Champ (which stands for “No Days Off”) stands at 5’8″ and reportedly weighs around 230 pounds.

He came to the United States from Liberia to avoid civil war. He is a giant of a man who has competed in numerous bodybuilding competitions such as when he came in second place in the Super Heavyweight division at the Arnold Classic in 2019.

NDO hasn’t competed in bodybuilding in quite some time, but did recently note he plans on returning to competition soon. He does have some minimal fight experience, including once sparring Andre Berto.

When he steps into the ring, he’ll face off against Roy Jones Jr., one of the best heavyweight boxers of all time.

He officially retired from competition in 2018 with a record of 66-9. Jones returned to the ring in an exhibition bout against fellow heavyweight legend Mike Tyson in 2020.

The bout was ruled a Draw, with chatter of Jones returning to the ring for another exhibition bout soon. Now, that fight will take place against NDO this January.
