Mike Tyson got everyone excited at the weigh-in yesterday for his big fight with Jake Paul.

The two are finally going to face off today at a huge stadium in Texas, and lots of people are going to watch it on Netflix for the very first time ever live.

Before their big fight, there’s going to be another exciting match with two amazing women boxers, Katie Taylor and Amanda Serrano, fighting for the super lightweight title.

But most people will be watching the big fight between Tyson and Jake Paul for sure.

Roy Jones Jr. Believes Tyson’s Emotions Will Fuel Him in Fight with Jake Paul

When Mike Tyson was younger, he was known for being tough and really serious. But in recent years, he seemed nicer and more relaxed.

Now, it looks like the old, fierce Mike Tyson is back. At the weigh-in, he even slapped Jake Paul, but Mike says he only did it because Jake stepped on his foot.

Even though Mike Tyson slapped Jake Paul, boxing star Roy Jones Jr. says it’s actually a good thing. He thinks it made Mike Tyson stronger and ready to fight his best. Roy even fought Mike in 2020.

“That’s Mike, that’s vintage Mike,” Jones told Fight Hub TV. “It means that Mike isn’t just going through the motions, he’s serious about it, you know. So I like that.

“If I hadn’t seen that [slap], I’d be worried that this fight may not even be for real. Mike’s style – he can never be too emotional.

“That’s how he lived, he fought off [his] emotions. I lean more towards Mike, of course, because Mike’s the traditional boxer.”

Jake Paul Channels Ivan Drago Against Mike Tyson at Weigh-In

After Jake Paul got slapped by Mike Tyson, he grabbed the microphone and said, “It’s personal now, he must die,” just like Ivan Drago from Rocky 4.

The slap didn’t bother Jake at all. He weighed 227.2 pounds, which is the heaviest he’s ever been.

Mike Tyson also looked strong, but some people think he might be like a fancy car with no engine when it’s time to fight.
