The boxing showdown between Jake Paul and former heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua delivered massive global attention, according to figures released by Most Valuable Promotions. The bout streamed live on Netflix from Kaseya Center in Miami and ended with Joshua securing a stoppage victory in the sixth round.
The promotion confirmed that the broadcast averaged 33 million Live plus one viewers worldwide, a number verified through data partnerships with Netflix and VideoAmp.
Streaming and Global Reach
The Paul Joshua event climbed to the number one position on Netflix in 45 countries, including the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Germany, Australia, Mexico, and Argentina. It also placed within the top ten most watched programs in 91 countries overall, signaling broad international engagement beyond traditional boxing audiences.
Arena and Commercial Viewing
Along with strong streaming results, the event reportedly produced the highest grossing boxing gate in the history of Kaseya Center.
In addition to home viewing, EverPass estimates showed nearly 600,000 viewers watched the fight from commercial locations such as bars, restaurants, and casinos, further extending the reach of the broadcast.

The evening also featured a women’s undisputed title contest between Alycia Baumgardner and Leila Beaudoin. That championship bout averaged approximately 15 million viewers, according to the same release.
Baumgardner successfully defended her undisputed super featherweight titles, winning by unanimous decision in a match contested under three minute rounds across twelve rounds.
While the numbers were substantial, they did not exceed Netflix’s previous boxing benchmark. Jake Paul’s earlier bout against Mike Tyson reportedly reached 108 million viewers, remaining the platform’s most watched boxing presentation to date.
Another Netflix streamed event, Canelo Alvarez vs Terence Crawford, drew an estimated 41 million viewers, placing the Paul Joshua card between those two major attractions.
