Mike Tyson never fails to entertain fight fans even to this day. In fact, he did it again during a recent appearance on Joe Rogan’s podcast when he divulged how the psychedelic toad played a huge role in his epic return.

The toad’s order

Tyson and Rogan talked about his sudden change of stance on making a return. Unsurprisingly, “Iron Mike” came up with another wild story.

According to the boxing legend, it was the hallucinogenic drug psychedelic toad that told him to just go out there and give it another go.

“I did this [psychedelic] toad, this DMT [Dimethyltryptamine] stuff and I lost the weight,” Tyson said. “I don’t know what happened, I just said I’m going to do this. I did this toad and I said, you’ve got to do this… you have to do that [and] I lost the weight.”

Tyson’s return was the “birth of Jake Paul”

Tyson went on to recount that he’s exhibition match against fellow boxing legend Roy Jones Jr. was supposedly against Pride legend Bob Sapp. What’s even more interesting, “The Baddest Man on the Planet” said his boxing comeback also opened the door for YouTuber-turned-pro boxer Jake Paul.

“It started with me fighting Bob Sapp, that was going to be the first fight,” he explained. “The fight with Roy Jones was supposed to be with Bob Sapp. Roy Jones got involved, other fighters got involved, Holyfield got involved and it turned into a fiasco.”

“Jake Paul got involved and that was the birth of Jake Paul,” he continued.

Tyson had previously confessed that money has taken away the joy in his return and is yet to reveal his concrete plans about fighting.
