Mike Tyson is looking more shredded than a julienne salad.
With his highly anticipated return to the boxing ring mere days away, the former undisputed heavyweight world champion showed off his impressive physique via a post on Instagram.
Even Tyson’s opponent, Jake Paul, couldn’t deny how incredible the ex-champ looks at 58 years old.
“Fair play Mike,” Paul said in the comments. “You look incredible. Hulk s***. But I’m still f***ing you up.”
Tyson’s first professional boxing bout will come nearly 20 years removed from his last fight—a sixth-round TKO loss against Kevin McBride in June 2005. This time, ‘Iron’ will square off with YouTube sensation Jake Paul who has made a name for himself in recent years earning wins over a plethora of past-their-prime MMA stars.
Tyson vs. Paul will go down inside the 80,000-seat AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas and air live on Netflix around the world.
‘Iron’ is considered by many to be one of the greatest boxers the sport has ever produced. Tyson’s legendary power put away his first 19 opponents via KO/TKO and closed out his career with 50 total wins—44 of them coming inside the distance.
Mike Tyson Reveals His Top Five Favorite Boxers
Appearing on the Pound-4-Pound podcast with Kamaru Usman and Henry Cejudo, Tyson revealed who he believes are the five best boxers on the planet right now. Surprisingly, Tyson did not name Oleksandr Usyk, the sport’s first unified heavyweight champion in more than two decades.
“[David] Benavidez, ‘Tank’ [Gervonta Davis], Shakur [Stevenson] when he’s got that kind of guy, like if ‘Tank’ was fighting him,” Tyson said. “Something like that. Who else? Of course, we’ve got [Terence] ‘Bud’ Crawford, and listen, I like [Errol] Spence Jr. too. I think Spence Jr. could come back and still get his title back. I really think so, I think Spence Jr. is an underrated fighter.”
While Tyson’s clash with ‘The Problem Child’ will be his first pro bout in more than 19 years, ‘Kid Dynamite’ did return to the ring in 2020 for a charity boxing match with fellow legend Roy Jones Jr. The fight was ruled a draw after eight rounds.
