The famous boxer, Mike Tyson, had a big fight with Jake Paul on Friday night in Dallas. Even though he didn’t win, he felt proud just to be there because getting ready for the fight was really hard.

Back in May, Mike got super sick with a sore tummy called an ulcer. It made him throw up blood, and he even had to move the fight to a later date. He said he felt very, very sick, almost like he might not make it. Mike also lost a lot of weight, 25 pounds because of how bad he felt.

Tyson’s Return Fight Ends in a Tough Loss to Jake Paul

Mike Tyson, the legendary boxer, went into his fight with Jake Paul as the big underdog on Friday night. He started off strong, trying to surprise his younger opponent, but after just two rounds, he ran out of energy.

From that point on, Tyson focused on staying in the fight, moving and dodging like it was second nature. Jake Paul, on the other hand, didn’t push too hard, maybe trying to avoid any risky moments, like what happened when Evander Holyfield fought Vitor Belfort.

The fight went the full eight rounds, with Jake bowing to Tyson just before the final bell. The two shared a hug afterward, showing respect, but many fans felt the main event didn’t live up to the hype.

Mike Tyson Speaks Out After Tough Loss to Jake Paul

After the fight, Mike Tyson went on social media to share his thoughts for the first time since his quick chat with Ariel Helwani in the ring. During that interview, he said he might fight again, but in his new message, he didn’t mention that. Instead, he talked about how serious his health problems were.

“This is one of those situations when you lost but still won,” Tyson wrote on X. “I’m grateful for last night. No regrets to get in ring one last time. I almost died in June. Had 8 blood transfusions. Lost half my blood and 25lb in hospital and had to fight to get healthy to fight so I won. To have my children see me stand toe to toe and finish 8 rounds with a talented fighter half my age in front of a packed Dallas Cowboy stadium is an experience that no man has the right to ask for. Thank you.”

Right after the fight, Jake Paul said he had to be careful with Mike Tyson in the ring. He said he didn’t try to hit Mike too hard because he wanted to protect him instead. Jake said it might have made the fight less exciting, but he didn’t want to hurt Mike since he wasn’t feeling well.
