Mike Tyson made his comeback against Roy Jones on psychedelics.

The Boxing Hall of Famer took on Roy Jones in his comeback bout in November 2020. Tyson has confessed that he headlined the top 10 ranked all-time pay-per-view fight under the influence. He went a step further to promote the benefits of using magic mushrooms and say that he didn’t feel the damage.

Mike Tyson fought Roy Jones on magic mushrooms

‘Iron’ Mike fought on the main card for Triller’s boxing debut to a draw of over one million fans who tuned in for the affair. In a recent appearance on The Pivot podcast, Tyson admitted to using magic mushrooms for the outing.

“We don’t use [mushrooms] to run away. It helps me train, it helps me box better. When I’m fighting, I really don’t feel the punches. It’s really just some f*cking magical sh*t. You saw me just fight [against Jones]. I was on shrooms.

“I wouldn’t fight without them, are you crazy? And some weed. I wish I did this sh*t during my career, I’m so f*cking mad I didn’t know about this sh*t. The word drugs is negative.”

Tyson hinted at a bout with Jake Paul

In an appearance on the Jimmy Kimmel show, Tyson hinted at a potential exhibition match with Paul down the line.

“Anything is possible but it has got to happen this year. That could be very interesting. He is skilled enough and I will give it to him because he is winning.

“Even if he is fighting fighters that aren’t meant to be good enough, they should still be beating him but they can’t. He is beating people that he shouldn’t really be beating so you have to give him credit. He is doing good and he is doing things that are great for boxing. This guy has 7 million people following him every time he fights.

“The champions of the world don’t have that many people following him so what he is doing for boxing is sensational. No-one should be hating on him, what this kid is doing they should be following him. He is helping everybody get money so why are people mad at him?”

Jake Paul was slated to take on Tommy Fury this August at Madison Square Garden, New York. However, the latest developments have indicated otherwise with Paul claiming he’s calling it off and moving on to a new opponent.
