Mike Tyson, the iconic boxing champion known for his fierce punches and bold lifestyle, has made headlines again—this time for a jaw-dropping real estate purchase. Following a $20 million payday from his blockbuster fight with Jake Paul, Tyson spent $13 million on a luxury mansion in Florida’s exclusive Tierra Del Rey Estates neighborhood.

A Home That Matches the Legend

The new mansion is more than just a place to live, it’s a statement. Spread across 2.7 acres, the property boasts a serene lake and an impressive 12,286-square-foot home with six bedrooms and nine bathrooms. The grand estate is a significant upgrade from his previous $2.5 million Las Vegas residence and reflects Tyson’s ability to balance luxury and practicality.

The location wasn’t chosen by chance. According to Realtor Matthew Maschler, Tyson’s daughter, who is a passionate tennis player, had a major influence on the decision. “Basically, the appeal to him is his daughter plays tennis, and she plays in Delray,” Maschler explained on his podcast. “So he wants to be able to fly in, go see his daughter’s tennis match, go back to his plane and fly to wherever he came from. Amazing, amazing that you can do this in Delray, just a little north of Boca Raton.”

A Career Still Thriving

While the $20 million fight purse played a pivotal role in this purchase, Tyson’s financial success extends far beyond the ring. In recent years, he’s built a thriving business empire, leveraging his larger-than-life persona to grow his brand. This sharp focus on financial planning is a far cry from the wild spending habits of his younger years, signaling a more calculated approach to his wealth.

This isn’t Tyson’s first taste of luxury real estate. Fans may remember the 50,000-square-foot Connecticut mansion he once sold to rapper 50 Cent. However, this Florida home marks a new chapter in Tyson’s life, one that revolves around family and comfort.

What’s Next for “Iron Mike”?

Though Tyson appears to be enjoying life outside the ring, there’s always the lingering question of whether the boxing legend will step back into the spotlight for another fight. For now, it seems he’s happy focusing on his family, living the good life, and enjoying his stunning new Florida retreat.
