- Mike Perry claims he was never drug-tested when he fought Jake Paul
- “Platinum” doesn’t know if the boxing legend will not be tested as well
Mike Perry is wondering if Mike Tyson will not be drug-tested in his boxing match with Jake Paul.
Perry thinks Tyson could be on PEDs against Paul
Speaking on Tim Welch’s official YouTube channel, “Platinum” shockingly revealed that there wasn’t a single drug test that he had to take when he fought “The Problem Child.” For Perry, it was unusual but if that would be the case in the Paul vs. Tyson fight, the boxing legend could be on PEDs without a problem.
“When I fought Jake, I was undefeated, 6-0 as far as the last three years. Then I fought Jake, it was the first time I hadn’t been drug-tested. They tested me for all my fights, except for the Jake Paul fight,” Perry said.
“No excuses, I spar and train with people that are on the juice. They didn’t test me at a fight of that magnitude against a fighter as important as Jake Paul is to the system they’ve got set up and going so, I was surprised to not get tested. If he’s on some sh*t, it’s so good, they can’t test for it, anyway,” he added.
Tyson might enter the ring high
The much-awaited showdown between Paul and Tyson is just days away from happening. So far, neither of the fighters has tested positive of any PEDs and as Perry mentioned, nobody knows whether any drug test will be conducted for the fight.
It can be recalled that Tyson previously said he might enter the ring and face Paul high on marijuana. However, it’s obviously hard to believe. Paul vs. Tyson will finally take place on Nov. 15th at the AT&T Stadium in Dallas, Texas and will be streamed live and free on Netflix.
