YouTube star KSI made quick work of his first opponent on Saturday at the O2 Arena in London.

Facing English rapper Swarmz in the first of two fights scheduled for the same night, KSI smashed his opponent with relative ease. Taking the fight on two weeks’ notice after KSI’s original opponent Alex Wassabi pulled out of the contest due to an injury.

In the opening round, KSI chased down Swarmz who clearly had no interest in trying to compete. The social media star finally caught and dropped Swarmz in the first round, but the rapper managed to get back to his feet and stayed alive long enough to see the second round.  Seconds into the next round, KSI blasted Swarmz with a left that sat down his Greenwich-born opponent. With no interest in taking any more punishment, Swarmz stayed down until counted out.

KSI is Scheduled to Face Luis Alcaraz Pineda Next

Facing backlash for opting to fight Swarmz, who has no prior boxing experience, over another professional boxer, KSI doubled down by adding pro boxer Luis Alcaraz Pineda to the lineup.  He agreed to fight both fighters on the same night with Swarmz being the first man up.

Now that he has successfully dispatched of Swarmz with relative ease, TheYouTube star will meet the 2-5 professional boxer next as part of his inaugural event with sports streaming service DAZN. Pineda made his professional boxing debut fighting at 145 pounds but will compete at 175 pounds when he steps into the ring against KSI.

Even with Pineda’s resume being less than spectacular, taking on two opponents on the same night is a challenge for any professional fighter. It will be interesting to see how KSI performs not only against a professional with seven fights under his belt but in his second fight of the evening.
