Joe Rogan doesn’t hold back, and after Mike Tyson’s underwhelming performance against Jake Paul on Friday night, he stayed true to his reputation for honesty.
Mike Tyson, 58, started strong, but his legs got tired after two rounds. Paul kept moving and hitting, and Tyson just tried to hang on. He made it through all eight rounds, but Paul later said he didn’t try to knock Tyson out. Before the fight, Rogan shared a hopeful thought online.

“I’m getting ready to watch this Tyson vs Jake Paul fight like I’m watching someone cast a spell that I hope actually works. And I don’t really believe in magic. But I want to believe.”

The judges scored the fight 80-72, 79-73, and 79-73 in favor of Paul.
When asked if he held back from fully punishing Tyson, Paul openly admitted that he did.
“Yeah, definitely. Definitely a bit. I wanted to give the fans a show, but I didn’t want to hurt someone that didn’t need to be hurt.”
At the end of the fight, Paul showed he really liked Tyson. He even bowed to the big boxing star to show respect.

At the end of the fight, some fans booed, and those watching from home weren’t happy because the video kept glitching.
This fight took a long time to happen. Tyson and Paul were originally set to face off last July, but Tyson had to delay it because of stomach issues.
Now, Tyson’s record stands at 50 wins and 7 losses, while Paul improves to 11 wins and just 1 loss.
