A recent bombshell claim about a potential mega-fight between Conor McGregor and Logan Paul in India has been swiftly shot down by Jake Paul’s promotion company, Most Valuable Promotions. The buzz surrounding the fight, supposedly set to take place in the Wankhede Cricket Stadium in Mumbai, gained momentum when McGregor himself hinted at negotiations with the Ambani family. This rumored match was expected to be part of India’s “Visit India” campaign, with talks suggesting both fighters would pocket a whopping $250 million each.

However, just as quickly as the rumors spread, Jake Paul’s promotion chimed in to clear things up. On Instagram, they commented “cap on cap on cap,” calling out the reports as false and misleading. While McGregor had re-shared the supposed details of the fight, the allegations didn’t hold up to scrutiny.

The rumors first gained traction from a fake social media account impersonating respected boxing journalist Michael Benson, which cited a supposed source, Dan Rafael. But combat sports content creator Elie Seckbach was quick to alert the public about the fraudulent account, urging fans to take the claims with a grain of salt.

At this point, it’s clear that the much-talked-about McGregor vs. Logan Paul fight is nothing more than wishful thinking for now. With both McGregor and Logan Paul being figures prone to circulating rumors, it’s safe to say that this one won’t be making its way to the ring anytime soon.
