- Jake Paul’s girlfriend Jutta Leerdam admitted to feeling worried about him ahead of fight with Mike Tyson
- Leerdam explained why Tyson has a huge advantage over his boyfriend
Jake Paul’s girlfriend Jutta Leerdam is fearing for his boyfriend as she is well aware of the damage Mike Tyson could do despite his age.
Tyson’s body still knows how to destroy
Speaking on BS w/ Jake Paul, Leerdam shared her candid thoughts on Paul vs. Tyson. Leerdam, who is an Olympic silver medalist herself, pointed out that while “The Problem Child” is younger, Tyson’s body has been used to training and competing at a high level.
That said, Leerdam still believes Paul will win but she is not confident about how he could match up against the boxing legend.
“I think you’re gonna win, but, he’s the competitor that is the most scary to me,” Leerdam told Paul during the podcast. “He’s scary. He’s just scary. He’s super strong, and I’ve seen videos of him. Of course he’s a little bit older now, but if you’ve ever been able to do that, your body remembers that. He has that power forever.”
“And also, one thing about Jake is he’s been doing this for, like, 5 years,” she added. “I think that is worse than being, like, almost 60 and having your whole life [boxing]. You’re used to that power. You’ve trained so much. Your body will remember that. He’s had so many years of training. Jake didn’t even train like 5 years ago. He didn’t do anything. He was partying. So that’s not even comparable.”
“If someone started a few years ago with speed skating, they couldn’t even participate in the world championships,” she continued. “Like, that’s not even possible. So what Jake is doing is already crazy. Seriously.”
Tyson is looking incredibly well
It can be recalled that Paul vs. Tyson was originally scheduled in July. However, an alarming health condition forced “Iron Mike” to pull out.
This time, Tyson is certain that his heath will never be an issue. In fact, he even finds it hard to stop himself from training hard heading into the fight, acknowledging his mentality as a “sickness” that he has no control of. Paul vs. Tyson will finally take place on Nov. 15th at the AT&T Stadium in Dallas, Texas and will be streamed live on Netflix.
