  • The UFC veteran came up with a quick rebuttal

Jake Paul has accused Nate Diaz of ducking him in an MMA bout and got an epic response from the UFC legend.

Nate is scared

As Paul embarks on a journey into the world of MMA, he has set his sights on the iconic Diaz. While “the Problem Child” has been predominantly focused on boxing, he is preparing to make his much-anticipated MMA debut under the PFL banner in the near future. However, Paul wants to ensure that he is facing the best fighter available. Currently, the name that stands out in Paul’s mind is none other than Diaz.

“We want to, but our opponents don’t actually really want to,” Paul said in a post-event conference. “It’s funny that Nate Diaz is actually scared to fight me in MMA. The biggest payday of his life would be me and him in MMA. I’m ready.”

“Jake just put on the biggest boxing event in history,” MVP co-founder Nakisa Bidarian added. “If the right opponent, if Nate Diaz wants to fight, Jake has always said he wants to do it. But he’s very focused on boxing.”

Nate fires back

As expected, Diaz was quick to reply. In a post on X, the UFC legend challenged Paul to “sign the contract” right away. However, Nate clarified that he wants the fight to happen in a big-name organization.

“Sign the contract Scary and not in 12 months from now and in a shitty organization Scary,” Diaz said.

Last year, Paul showcased his boxing prowess with a thrilling win over Diaz. The victory not only solidified his reputation as a formidable boxer but also ignited discussions about his potential transition into MMA. Since then, Diaz was able to bounce back by beating his fellow UFC legend Jorge Masvidal.
