- Jake Paul blasted critics discrediting his win over Mike Tyson
- “The Problem Child” only wants to discuss business with successful fighters
Jake Paul remained unfazed despite being heavily criticized over beating a 58-year-old Mike Tyson.
People can’t accept that Jake beat Tyson
Speaking to the media in a recent presser, “The Problem Child” got brutally honest about his thoughts on naysayers discrediting his win over Tyson. According to Paul, they just have to deal with the fact that he added another legend to his resume and he’s only interested in talking about fighters who could generate the money he did in the Tyson fight.
“There is no response to the reaction of the Tyson fight,” Paul said. “I quite frankly didn’t look at it. What do I care that people have to say about anything that I do? If anyone in my life has something to say, then they’ll text me. If you don’t have my number, then I don’t give a fuck about you. All the texts were, ‘best event ever,’ ‘incredible,’ ‘you’re the face of boxing,’ all of these things, love, love, love – and that’s all I care about. That’s the landscape we’re in.”
“Everyone just trying to talk sh*t and peacock-jockey for their position,” he added. “Beyond all the shit talk, I don’t want to create a back-and-forth of nonsense, but I have the biggest fight in boxing history; the numbers tell the truth of that, so people can say whatever they want. So let me see someone with more numbers, then we can talk… People are just mad that it’s permanently on BoxRec that I beat Mike Tyson.”

Jake eyes MMA debut with Nate
Paul is now aiming to make his MMA debut at PFL. His opponent of choice is Nate Diaz but he accused the UFC legend of being “scared” to face him inside the cage. However, Diaz hit back and challenged the YouTuber-turned-boxer to “sign the contract.”
Sign the contract Scary and not in 12 months from now and in a shitty organization pic.twitter.com/fptB1I8tNv

As it stands, Paul is now 11-1 as a pro boxer. He has gone unbeaten in his last five trips to the squared circle.
