Jake Paul, who started on YouTube and now fights, has won 10 fights and lost 1. On Friday, he’s going to fight Mike Tyson, who used to be the best boxer in the world, at a big stadium in Texas. This fight was supposed to happen in July, but Tyson got a sore tummy because he ate too much bad food, so they moved the fight to November 15.
Mike Tyson stopped fighting in 2005 but had a fun match in 2020 with Roy Jones Jr. Now, he’s coming back to fight Jake Paul for real in a match that was announced in March and is officially allowed in Texas.
Jake Paul Ready to Knock Out Mike Tyson in Big Fight
Jake already fought in July and won against Mike Perry, another tough fighter. Now, Jake is feeling confident and says he will knock out Mike Tyson in their big fight.
“I’m just blessed to be here, so grateful for all the fans that show up. Dallas is going to be an amazing night on Friday and I’m just happy. God is with me this week, and I’m just having fun and doing my thing,” Paul said during the event’s open workouts. “I feel really good, sharp, powerful, explosive. And it’s going to be a short night for Mike.”
Jake Paul is younger, but Mike Tyson has a lot of experience. Tyson has been in some of the biggest fights ever, but Jake doesn’t think being older and having more fights will matter on Friday. He believes he can win.
“It’s not about how long you’ve been doing something. It’s about how good you do it,” Paul said. “On Friday night, people are going to see me outbox the person that’s been doing it their whole life.”
“Friday, my dreams come true and my career starts. This is the start of an amazing journey. What I’ve done so far doesn’t matter. Friday night, my career starts,” Paul added.
Jake Paul’s mom gets worried whenever he fights, but she’s extra nervous about this one. Jake told her not to worry because he’s going to win and do it in an amazing way.
“She doesn’t like watching Mike Tyson throw punches because she a little bit scared. But mom, I promise you, I was built for this, destined for this. The Gods got me. The universe has got me, and I, Jake Joseph Paul, will knockout Mike Tyson Friday… It is written in the f*cking history books,” he said.
The fight will happen at a big place called AT&T Stadium in Dallas, Texas, and you can watch it on Netflix. Mike Tyson and Jake Paul will start walking to the ring around 11 p.m. ET.
