Jake Paul hasn’t lost interest in a fight with Tommy Fury.

YouTube sensation Jake Paul was scheduled to take on Tommy Fury in an exhibition boxing match on August 6 at Madison Square Garden, NY. After much promotion, it was anticlimactic to see the younger Fury pull out of the fight claiming issues entering the country. There was speculation of Fury trying to move the fight to the UK so his father and elder brother would be able to attend.

Hasim Rahman Jr. was found as the replacement for Paul but he’s still willing to fight after.

Jake Paul is still down to fight Tommy Fury after Aug 6

In an interview with TMZ Sports, Jake Paul shared that he would be willing to still fight Tommy Fury after his upcoming bout. The younger Paul touched on the other athletes on the card and said it was his responsibility to make the event happen.

“I’m considering doing it after August 6 but I want to fight at Madison Square Garden and the show must go on whether or not Tommy Fury’s in the arena. I don’t wait for people, I don’t need to wait around.

“I have a responsibility to my fans to put on shows and even to the undercard, Amanda Serrano is the double main event so people are going to get to see Amanda Serrano fight again.

“If I wasn’t going to make the fight happen, then all of these people wouldn’t have had fights.”

Paul thinks it’d be funny to KO Fury in front of his whole family

“The Problem Child” had recently offered Tommy half a million to fight on neutral grounds. However, in the case that Fury doesn’t accept, Paul would be ready to go over to his country for a special reward.

“I told Tommy, ‘I’ll give you 500k’ and we could fight in the neutral location after August 6. Let’s run it up. We’ll see what he says but I just don’t think he ever wants to fight me.”

“If it makes sense, yeah. I think it would be funny to go over to the UK and knock him out in front of his whole family. That would be very rewarding for me.”

Paul doesn’t believe Fury’s claims of being denied entry and claimed that he tried to help him out but he wouldn’t budge.

“I don’t buy it, I had multiple people hit me up that said, ‘yo, I can get him in, I have connections to people at the embassy. We’ll get him his visa, no problem,’ and I DM’d Tommy and he just went into hiding”

“Who knows if he even went to the airport. He’s a famous figure in the UK, probably one of the most famous people over there and there’s no pictures of him at the London Heathrow airport, of him trying to get in. He was there for “a couple of hours” trying to get in, it doesn’t make sense.”

Jake Paul will face Hasim Rahman Jr. on Aug 6 at Madison Square Garden along with the double headliner Amanda Serrano on the same card.
