Mike Tyson’s highly anticipated return to boxing against Jake Paul has set a new standard in modern sports viewership.
According to Netflix, the showdown at AT&T Stadium attracted over 108 million live viewers worldwide, officially becoming the most-watched boxing match of the modern era, an achievement not seen since the days of Muhammad Ali.
Jake Paul Speaks Out on $90M Earnings Rumors from Historic Fight
Even though there was a lot of controversy around the fight due to the huge 31-year age gap between Mike Tyson and Jake Paul, people assumed they made a massive amount of money. However, making money wasn’t the main reason Tyson returned to boxing.
The daughter of Muhammad Ali said that her father would have been upset by the amount Tyson and Paul earned from their eight-round match.
Jake Paul’s promotion, Most Valuable Promotions, set up the event, and Jake was expected to make the biggest payday of his career.
But when rumors spread that he made $90 million from the fight, Jake responded to the claim during an interview with his brother, Logan Paul.
“Is it true you made $90m from this fight?” Logan asked his brother during a recent episode of IMPALSIVE.
“No, who said that? It’s not true. I made a lot of money, the most money I’ve made ever but (not $90m),” said the 27-year-old.
Jake Paul, the internet star who is now a boxer, said he might buy a big farm with the money he got from the fight.
“Probably a ranch, like a big piece of property and I’m gonna pimp it out,” Jake Paul added.

Jake Paul Reacts to Mike Tyson’s Performance in Their Boxing Match
After the fight, Jake Paul shared that he was disappointed with Mike Tyson’s performance. Paul had hoped for a strong and aggressive Tyson in the ring, especially after Tyson slapped him during the weigh-ins. However, the fight didn’t live up to expectations. Tyson, at 58 years old, didn’t land any significant punches, and many people have criticized his performance. Even world champion boxer Terence Crawford called Tyson’s showing “trash.” Paul expressed his frustration, saying that he expected much more from the legendary boxer.
“I wish he would’ve, yeah like, put up a better fight so that I could’ve risen (to the occasion) more and done more. And like, he was surviving a bit, so. That was the only thing I didn’t like,” stated the 27-year-old.
Tyson, though, did connect with what seemed to be a few hellacious punches, but Paul has claimed he ‘didn’t feel a thing’.

2 lowlifes stealing cash from public.
It was not a,legitimate boxing match. You did not beat Mike Tyson. You fought against a 58 year old man. If Mike had of been the same age as you, it would have been over the first round in the first second. Mike was probably paid to throw the fight.
