After seeing Ngannou’s tweet, Jake Paul quickly replied on social media with his own post. He talked about Jon Jones, the fighter who took the UFC belt that Ngannou gave up when he left the UFC.

Jake Paul and Francis Ngannou have been upset with each other for a long time. It started when Jon Jones was the light-heavyweight champ and thinking about moving up. Even after Ngannou left the UFC, he saw Jones at a PFL event last summer.

Jake Paul knew his words would make Ngannou mad when he posted on X (formerly Twitter):

“Clout chasing doesn’t suit you legend. Maybe Jon Jones is the better heavyweight after all.”

A few hours later, Jon Jones beat Stipe Miocic to retain his title in New York City.
