Jake Paul is slowly getting back on track after his devastating split decision loss to Tommy Fury last month. He admitted he wasn’t at his best when he stepped inside the ring that night but apparently, his wet dream the night before also had something to do with it.

Wet dreams are bad for fighters

Speaking on Impaulsive podcast, “The Problem Child” was prompted to talk about his wet dream heading into the fight with Fury after his brother Logan revealed that it happened to him too the night before he faced KSI.

According to Paul, wet dreams are one of the last things a fighter wants to have the day before a match because it naturally “makes the legs weak.”

“You have like two weeks, you have two weeks of testosterone built up and so the reason a wet dream happens is because your body like needs to release that energy it… It’s in your mind it’s like this is not good and yeah I f*cked myself… It makes your legs weak I guess the viewers like [to know why] that’s why it’s bad cause it makes your legs weak. It make sure your legs weak because the sperm is like stored in your legs and it has something to do with like the neurological connection of like you did exactly what you were put on this Earth to do so you become like relaxed and oxytocin goes through your body… it’s really bad guys… then once you start getting hit in the head, that’s why you’re like if you notice when fighters are about to get knocked out their legs start to like jumping all over the place that’s because you’re head and your legs like are connectedI think it’s one of like many reasons,” Paul explained.

What was the dream about?

When asked to reveal the details of his “wet dream,” Jake said he already forgot about it.

“I don’t actually even remember… I literally woke up in a panic like, ‘F*ck, f*ck, f*ck,” he recalled.

The loss to Fury humbled Paul but it certainly gave him extra motivation to prove himself by calling for a quick rematch. Should something hinder it from happening, Jake’s brother Logan said he’ll be more than happy to avenge his little brother’s defeat and face Fury.

Jake now has a 6-1 record as a pro, while Fury remains unbeaten with 9-0.
