‘The Problem Child’ is back…in August.

Aug. 6

On Friday, Jake Paul announced the details of his next boxing match on his social media. The YouTuber turned boxing superstar will return to action on August 6th at Madison Square Garden. His opponent has yet to be announced. Paul will headline the card, but boxing champion Amanda Serrano will also be on the card, most likely in the co-main event.

We going back to back. New York. MSG. Two main events. Showtime PPV. It gets no bigger, it gets no [better],” Paul wrote on Twitter.

Paul has been out of action since knocking out former UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley in their December rematch.

The 25-year-old fought three times in 2021, defeating Woodley twice and knocking out Ben Askren to start his year.

As for possible opponents, Paul has called out Michael Bisping, which is highly unlikely. Instead, boxing promoter Eddie Hearn revealed last week that he heard that Paul would be fighting Tommy Fury. Paul and Fury were scheduled to fight in December; however, Fury pulled out of the fight, making way for the Woodley rematch.

Serrano is coming off a Fight of the Year contender against Katie Taylor, which took place at Madison Square Garden last month, and it was the first time two women headlined at the historic arena.
