Jairzinho Rozenstruik, a former UFC heavyweight contender, debuted at Dirty Boxing 2 on June 14, 2025, at The Hangar at Regatta Harbour in Miami, Florida. He knocked out Victor Cardoso in the second round of the main event, securing a shot at the promotion’s inaugural heavyweight title.

In the co-main event, Saidyokub Kakhramonov defeated UFC veteran Alex Caceres by unanimous decision. The event, streamed on ESPN PPV and YouTube PPV, featured unique rules allowing four-ounce gloves, elbows, and ground-and-pound.

Rozenstruik’s Knockout Triumph

Rozenstruik overwhelmed Cardoso with precise strikes. After a cautious first round, he landed a powerful combination in round two, ending the fight. The victory earned him a title bout against Rob Perez, who stopped Alex Nicholson in the first round.

Born in Paramaribo, Suriname, on March 17, 1988, Rozenstruik began kickboxing at 17. He won the WLF Super Heavyweight Tournament in 2016 with over 60 bouts. Entering MMA in 2012, he joined the UFC in 2019, achieving a 9-6 record with knockouts over Alistair Overeem and Andrei Arlovski.

Released by the UFC in February 2025 after losing to Sergei Pavlovich, Rozenstruik, now 37, proved his striking remains elite in Dirty Boxing.

Cardoso, from Brazil, gained attention through social media knockout videos but had limited professional experience. His aggressive approach faltered against Rozenstruik’s technical skill and power.

Co-Main Event Action

Kakhramonov outworked Caceres in the co-main event. Caceres, cutting 20 pounds in 48 hours to make weight, rallied in round three. Kakhramonov landed a spinning elbow, cutting Caceres, and sealed the win with a big strike, earning scores of 30-27, 29-28, and 29-28.

Caceres, from Miami, Florida, fought in the UFC from 2011 to 2025, compiling a 21-15 record. Nicknamed “Bruce Leroy,” he faced top names like Urijah Faber and Yair Rodriguez. His Dirty Boxing debut showed heart despite the loss.

Kakhramonov, from Uzbekistan, had a 2-1 UFC record before his 2023 release. His victory over Caceres, a seasoned veteran, boosts his standing in Dirty Boxing.

The card showcased former UFC talent. Jessica-Rose Clark won a unanimous decision over Marilia Morais, and Francisco Trinaldo knocked out Eric Moon in the first round. Sasha Palatnikov secured a disqualification victory against Phil Hawes due to eye pokes.

Sheymon Moraes and Luis Saldana earned second-round TKO wins, while Lamar Brown and Milos Janicic took unanimous decisions, highlighting the event’s action-packed rules.

Co-owned by UFC stars Jon Jones and Mike Perry, Dirty Boxing Championship focuses on striking with an 18-foot ring and five-ounce gloves. The free YouTube stream, starting at 7:30 PM EDT, drew significant attention.

Perez’s TKO over Nicholson sets up an exciting title fight with Rozenstruik, fueling interest in the promotion’s heavyweight division.

Rozenstruik’s knockout reaffirms his striking prowess, positioning him for a title clash with Perez. Kakhramonov’s win elevates his profile, potentially leading to bigger fights in Dirty Boxing’s lighter divisions.

The event’s success, with a stacked lineup of UFC veterans, underscores Dirty Boxing’s growing popularity as a striking-focused alternative to MMA.
