- Greg Hardy got knocked out once again in a boxing match
- The UFC veteran also suffered knockout loss in his previous bout
Hardy was flattened out
The atmosphere was electric at the Megasport Sport Palace in Moscow as Greg Hardy stepped into the boxing ring to take on Russian boxer and kickboxer, Alexei Papin this past Friday. Hardy, who has built his identity as a former NFL player and UFC contender, was eager to prove his power. However, the match took a dramatic turn in the third round.
As the round progressed, Papin unleashed a flurry of powerful punches but a devastating left hook that caught Hardy off guard was the final nail in the coffin. The former UFC heavyweight contender was sent crashing to the canvas in a humiliating way.
After Hardy hit the matt, the referee in charge quickly realized he was out and stopped the fight, declaring Papin as the winner via knockout.

Hardy suffered an identical KO last May
In his last trip to the squared circle, “Prince of War” also suffered a brutal knockout loss. This past May, Hardy was mauled by Samoan boxer Patrick Mailata.
Hardy was once one of the most decorated knockout artists in the UFC heavyweight division. After three consecutive losses, “Prince of War” parted ways with the UFC. Prior to switching to boxing, Hardy made a quick stop at BKFC where he also got knocked out in his debut with the promotion.
