Floyd Mayweather Meets Deji Inside The Ring

It was announced by Deji and Global Titans promotion today (Mon. September 26, 2022) that Mayweather and Deji will compete in an exhibition boxing bout on November 13 from the Coca-Cola Arena in Dubai.

Mayweather has certainly been keeping busy since retiring from professional boxing back in 2017. He last defeated UFC star Conor McGregor, the bout being the Irishman’s professional debut, to extend his undefeated record to 50-0.

The 45-year-old has since been competing in exhibition bouts that don’t count against his record. Opponents include kickboxer Tenshin Nasukawa, Logan Paul, Don Moore, and Mikuru Asakura.

Mayweather last fought Asakura on September 25, defeating him in the second round via TKO. Even in exhibition bouts, Mayweather has managed to remain undefeated, clearly winning his contests in lopsided fashion.

Now, he’ll take on Deji, who also has a bit of experience inside the ring competing in exhibitions.

Deji has competed in four fights up to this point, winning only one, his latest. After dropping the first three fights to Jake Paul, Vinnie Hacker, and Alex Wassabi.

Upon his fight with Fousey, Deji finally recorded his first win, now carrying that momentum into his scheduled bout with Mayweather.

He has a huge following, as his social media platforms have 17 million subscribers combined.
