Matchroom Boxing’s Eddie Hearn didn’t mince words when discussing Jake Paul’s world title aspirations.

Hearn and Paul worked together in order to make Katie Taylor vs. Amanda Serrano possible. The two will collide this Saturday night (April 30). The winner of this bout will be recognized as the undisputed female lightweight champion of boxing.

Jake Paul Winning Gold? Not A Chance, Says Eddie Hearn

Eddie Hearn and Jake Paul spoke to media members to hype up Taylor vs. Serrano. When the topic of Paul’s world title hopes was brought up, Hearn gave his honest take.

“Everyone’s entitled to have a dream. I think there’s absolutely no way he can beat a world champion and become world champion.  But I will say he’s improving a lot, he’s dedicated to the sport. I don’t know how good he is because he hasn’t really faced a real fighter yet. It’s not his fault, he signed to fight Tommy Fury.”

Jake mentioned his sixth-round knockout victory over former UFC Welterweight Champion Tyron Woodley.

“A five-time world champion in Tyron Woodley is a real fighter.”

Hearn responded by saying Woodley wasn’t a real boxer.

“Mate, he’s not a real boxer. He’s not Jake. A real boxer is someone that that is his craft.”

Paul has faced a YouTuber, a former NBA player, and two MMA fighters inside the boxing ring. Many believe that Tommy Fury would be the first true test for Paul but he doesn’t appear to be interested in the fight.
