Claressa Shields would apparently put Amanda Nunes to sleep!

UFC women’s double champ Amanda Nunes no doubt cemented her name in MMA history as the greatest female fighter ever after her recent knockout victory against Holly Holm at UFC 239.

But, all of this “GOAT” talk would naturally draw a lot of attention to the duel UFC champion. Well, TMZ Sports recently spoke with Claressa Shields who is the current WBO, WBA, WBC, and IBF middleweight champion.

And she doesn’t think Nunes is the greatest of all time.

“I’m the greatest of all time”. Shields then referred to her twice Olympic appearance implying it’s what sets her apart and makes her the best.

She’s the “GOAT” in MMA and I’m the “GOAT” in boxing, and if we were to fight, I would win. That’s what I think. But Shields was referring to boxing, and when the question came up of whether she could beat Nunez in MMA, Shields jokingly responded “Hell nah, I can’t wrestle”.

But anyone who knows anything about combat sports knows each athlete would win in their respective sport.

We haven’t seen any crossovers between boxing and MMA promotions besides Conor Mcgregor and Floyd Mayweather. So Nunes could be the one who can set a trend again.

What do you think of this potential match between two great athletes Amanda Nunes and Claressa Shields? Who will win if this contest happen?
