Chris Rock’s brother, Kenny, is all in on a celebrity boxing match against Will Smith.

Will stunned audience members, fellow actors, and fans watching at home when he slapped Chris Rock during the 2022 Oscars. Rock’s joke about Jada Pinkett not having any hair is what prompted Will to get physical. Smith ended up being banned from the Academy for 10 years as a result of his actions.

Chris Rock’s Brother vs. Will Smith?

Kenny Rock has signed a deal with Celebrity Boxing. He is scheduled to be in action this summer but he doesn’t have an opponent yet. He called out Will Smith when speaking to TMZ (h/t Mirror).

“I should get in the ring with Will Smith. I could take him down… I’ll let the hands do the talking.”

Shortly after the incident at the Oscars occurred, Will Smith issued a public apology for his behavior.

Violence in all of its forms is poisonous and destructive. My behavior at last night’s Academy Awards was unacceptable and inexcusable. Jokes at my expense are a part of the job, but a joke about Jada’s medical condition was too much for me to bear and I reacted emotionally.

“I would like to publicly apologize to you, Chris. I was out of line and I was wrong. I am embarrassed and my actions were not indicative of the man I want to be. There is no place for violence in a world of love and kindness.

“I would also like to apologize to the Academy, the producers of the show, all the attendees and everyone watching around the world. I would like to apologize to the Williams Family and my King Richard Family. I deeply regret that my behavior has stained what has been an otherwise gorgeous journey for all of us.

“I am a work in progress.

“Sincerely,

“Will.”

A boxing showdown between Kenny Rock and Will Smith may be unlikely but never say never in the whacky worlds of combat sports and Hollywood.
