Walsh defeated Tyler Denny by unanimous decision in their 10-round middleweight fight at Zuffa Boxing 10 on Saturday, August 8. The judges scored it 98-91, 98-91 and 96-90 for the unbeaten Cork fighter at 3Arena.

Walsh And Denny Trade Knockdowns In The First Two Rounds
Denny created the first major turn when he dropped Walsh in Round 1. Walsh answered immediately in the next round, putting the former European champion down and changing the direction of the fight before it could become an upset.
The two knockdowns gave the opening six minutes real danger, but the scorecards show how firmly Walsh took control after that exchange. All three judges gave him a clear decision, with two cards separated by seven points and the third by six.

Walsh Passes A Different Test In Zuffa Boxing’s Dublin Debut
Walsh entered as one of the central fighters in Dana White’s boxing project. He headlined the first Zuffa Boxing card in January and beat Carlos Ocampo over 10 rounds, then took another experienced opponent for the promotion’s first event in Ireland.
Denny brought more seasoning than his knockout total suggests. The English southpaw won the European middleweight title by stopping Matteo Signani in 2023, retained it against Felix Cash in 2024 and had already shared the ring with Hamzah Sheeraz and George Liddard before facing Walsh.
That background made the early knockdown more than a routine scare. Walsh had to reset against a former champion who has repeatedly worked deep into domestic and European-level fights.
Zuffa Boxing 10 was staged at Dublin’s 3Arena and aired on Paramount+ in the United States and Sky Sports in the United Kingdom and Ireland. The card marked the promotion’s first visit to Ireland after White previously said Zuffa Boxing was heading to Dublin.
The result also gives Walsh another important position inside a growing middleweight roster. Zuffa has continued expanding its boxing plans, with White openly targeting major free agents and Ryan Garcia discussing what he likes about the promotion’s format.
