Anthony Joshua vs. Andy Ruiz Jr. rematch officially booked for December in a surprise location

Anthony Joshua Andy Ruiz Jr. Rematch

Can lightening strike Anthony Joshua twice? Does Andy Ruiz Jr. have the ability to shock the combat sports world again?

Today the location and date Anthony Joshua vs. Andy Ruiz Jr. part two has been set.

TMZ Sports with the breaking news

“It’s official — Anthony Joshua and Andy Ruiz Jr. will meet again in December … and it’s all going down in Saudi Arabia!!!

There have been serious talks of a rematch ever since Ruiz shocked the world and took AJ’s heavyweight title back in June … and now Eddie Hearn’s Matchroom Boxing promotion has confirmed the fight is set for December 7.”

Prior to his loss to Ruiz in June of 2019, Joshua was an unbeaten star in the making. The six foot six British gold medalist was tabbed as the next big thing in boxing. Still only 29 years of age, Joshua still has it all.

Looks, personality, and physical imposing look are just a few of the boxes Joshua checks. Now if he could just get by Ruiz Jr.

Joshua was originally slated to face American heavyweight Jarrell Miller (23-0-1, 20 KOs) in June at Madison Square Garden. Instead on six weeks notice, Miller was pulled from the fight after he popped for not one, not two but, three PED’s.

YOLO.

EPO, HGH and GW1516 is a hell of cocktail to chug prior to facing Anthony Joshua.

With Miller out, Andy Ruiz Jr. stepped in and then shocked the world with a seventh round TKO upset win.

Nicknamed the Mexican Rocy, can Ruiz do it again, but this time in Saudi Arabia on December 7th?
