The bodybuilding community has witnessed some shocking events in the last few years. IFBB Pro bodybuilder and former Arnold Classic champion Cedric McMillan passed away at 44 years old in April 2022. Despite facing many health challenges, McMillan was targeting a return to action but did not get the chance to do so. His lasting legacy continues to inspire the next generation.

Earlier this year, Women’s Physique competitor Amy Richardson passed away at 49 years old after contracting pneumonia and the flu while attending the 2022 Mr. Olympia last December.

It has been a tumultuous week for the bodybuilding community as it reels from the loss of another member. IFBB Pro bodybuilder ‘Mighty Mike’ Quinn was reported dead at the age of 61 by his sister, Kellie, following a lengthy battle with a long-term illness earlier this week. Quinn’s contributions to the Men’s Open division in the 1980s helped shape the way for its modern standing.

Quattlebaum is survived by his mother and his stepfather Deborah and William Lake and his siblings Benson, Peter, and Miriam. A memorial service was scheduled for today at 2:00 PM at Robinson Funeral Home Chapel at 1425 Powdersville Rd, Easley SC.
